On the day she turns thirteen, Riya receives a strange and 

ancient gift—a book with no words, only holes of different 

shapes and faded symbols. When Riya is swept into a 

magical world of castles, secret doors, riddles, and danger. 

Joined by her friend, Hero, the horse, Riya must travel 

across kingdoms to crack a riddle that will bring her back 

home. Along the way, she makes friends and faces tricky 

betrayals. With courage, cleverness and a big heart, she 

discovers that being a teen isn’t just about growing up—it's 

about stepping up.
